Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (A.R.T.) celebrates the 25th anniversary of New York Archives Week October 6-12, 2013. New York Archives Week events include lectures, repository tours, symposia and workshops, all free and open to the public. These events are designed to raise the public’s awareness of the importance of preserving and making accessible our documentary heritage. New York Archives Week is attended by hundreds of New York City residents and archival and information science professionals each year, and is A.R.T.’s primary outreach initiative.
