The Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York, Inc. (A.R.T.), in partnership with the National Archives at New York City, announces the 9th annual Archives Education Institute (AEI). This event is part of New York Archives Week.

This program is intended to bring together 40 local K-12 teachers, archivists, librarians, and museum educators to discuss strategies for teaching with primary source materials on the topic of sports and its history in NYC. The Institute is free with breakfast, snacks, and coffee provided for all participants.

The Institute will be centered around ways to engage with archival primary sources through small group activities led by archivists and educators who regularly teach with primary source materials.

All press inquiries and other questions may be directed to: Cristina Vignone, President, A.R.T. President or Sarah Bellet, Director of Outreach, outreach@nycarchivists.org.

A.R.T. acknowledges the continued support of MetLife, a major sponsor of New York Archives Week.
