Join us for a tour of the Mark Morris Dance Group Archives, led by Stephanie Neel (Archivist) and Justin Han (Processing Archivist). The MMDG Archives, located at the Mark Morris Dance Center in downtown Brooklyn, was formed in 2017 as part of an Andrew W. Mellon Grant to process, digitize, and catalog the 43-year history of the Dance Group and School at the Mark Morris Dance Center, and includes a large audiovisual collection; photographs; press; programs; costumes and costume bibles; production files; and more.

The tour will begin in the Archives office and storage space, where Justin and Stephanie will share some materials from the Archive, before heading to the MMDG Library to check out the Dance Group's CollectiveAccess database online, and watch some exclusive performance and rehearsal videos that have been digitized and cataloged over the years. There will be plenty of time to ask questions throughout the evening as well. Snacks will be provided!

Please RSVP to archives@mmdg.org. This tour will be limited to 12 people.
