Nicole Greenhouse, the Web Archivist in Archival Collections Management, will be giving an overview of the NYU Special Collections web archiving program. NYU Special Collections has been web archiving since 2007, documenting the labor and left movements, including Occupy Wall Street, downtown arts, contemporary composers, and New York University websites. The presentation will cover what web archiving is, how NYU archives websites, and how we manage and provide quality assurance to the collection of over 5000 websites.
