Please join the Advocacy Committee for a special event in celebration of International Archives Day.  We are honored to have guest speaker Douglas Cox present on archives, archivists, and international conflict.

Douglas Cox is a Professor and the International Law Librarian at CUNY School of Law. His research focuses on the intersection of information policy and national security, including issues related to the legal status of documents captured in armed conflict, international legal protections for cultural property, the laws governing the preservation of government records and archives, and FOIA.

Wine and cheese will be served!

Special thanks to the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture of the New York Public Library for hosting the event!
