visit the Field Day early for prizes, and then check out a talk at 2:30 pm by Manhattan Borough Historian Michael Miscione, titled "The Great Subway Race."

Curious about the history of sports and leisure in New York City? Then spend part of your Saturday afternoon at the Archives Field Day, sponsored by the Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York, Inc. This event is free and open to the public.

Event Summary:


The event was held at 92nd Street Y’s Warburg Lounge and challenged visitors to solve a series of questions using primary sources from area museums, archives, and libraries. The theme was Sports & Leisure. Each puzzle solved gave a passport stamp, along with drawings for prizes.
