Print Library Assistant

Candidate will help our team in organizing and maintaining the GAP Brand Print Library as well as helping to build our database in our HQ offices.

The Print Library serves designers and others in a creative environment, providing print & pattern inspiration for seasonal design work.

Duties Include:

Organizing, mounting, labeling and filing of print swatches and original artwork.

Scanning prints and saving images with appropriate metadata in the departmental database.

Assisting designers and other business partners in finding print & pattern inspiration as well as check-in and check-out of artwork.

Preferred Skills:

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to identify textiles, fabrics, prints and artwork styles.

Ability to work well alone and with others.

Applicant should be personable, detail oriented and self-directed.

Interest in fashion and knowledge of current fashion trends is ideal.

Retail/Customer Service experience helpful.

Knowledge of Photoshop and digital asset management systems preferred.

40 hours per week, during normal business hours (9-6) $16 per hour. This is a contract position.
