New York Archives Week Symposium 2018: The Uncomfortable Archive
Questionable subject matters. Overly restrictive deeds of gift. Hard-to-justify budgets. We all know any archive worth its salt will (perhaps should) make its stewards occasionally uneasy. During the 2018 New York Archives Week Symposium, we want to make our colleagues shift in their seats. Bring your stories of quandaries, confrontations and sleepless nights, and make us all think about the ultimate question on personal and professional responsibility: “What would I do?”
