Lindsay Turley, Treasurer
Lindsay currently serves as the Assistant Director of Collections at the Museum of the
City of New York (MCNY). Previously Lindsay held the position of Manuscripts and
Reference Archivist at MCNY (2010-2014). Lindsay has also served as the Assistant
Archivist at the National Office of the American Civil Liberties Union. Before obtaining her
MLS she worked as a retail buyer, and also holds a Minor in Business Management,
bringing formal education as well as experience in finance to the position of Treasurer. In
her capacity as an archivist, she has been responsible for not only drafting budgets for
the archives department at the ACLU and grant funded projects at MCNY, but also of
tracking expenditures and keeping projects within the prescribed budget.
Lindsay has been an A.R.T. member since 2006, and on served on the Bylaws Committee (2011-2012), planning committee for the Artists' Records in the Archives Symposium (2011), planning committee for Archives Week (2011), and has hosted New York Archives Week annual
events (2011-Present). Additionally, she is a member of MARAC, an institutional member
of SAA, and serves on the SAA Museum Archives Section Working Group.
