Lindsay Turley, Treasurer
Lindsay has held the position of Manuscripts and Reference Archivist at the Museum of the City of New York since fall of 2010; previously, she served as the Assistant Archivist at the National Office of the American Civil Liberties Union. Before obtaining her MLS she worked as a retail buyer, and also holds a Minor in Business Management, bringing formal education as well as experience in finance to the position of Treasurer. In her capacity as an archivist, she has been responsible for not only drafting budgets for the archives department at the ACLU and grant funded projects at MCNY, but also of tracking expenditures and keeping projects within the prescribed budget. She has been a member of the Archivist Roundtable since 2006, and a served on the Bylaws Committee (2011-2012), planning committee for the Artists’ Records in the Archives Symposium (2011), planning committee for Archives Week (2011), and has hosted Archives Week events for the past three years. Additionally, she is a member of MARAC, an institutional member of SAA, and serves on the SAA Museum Archives Section Working Group.
