  • For current A.R.T. Members.

Join members of the Advocacy Committee for a free-form discussion in which you can engage A.R.T. leadership and help set the organization’s advocacy agenda.  As a point of departure, we will be considering SAA President Kathleen Roe’s various calls to action including:

What is the value of archives?

Why are you an archivist?

How do you describe archives and archives in five words?

Come prepared to share your ideas and speak up on the issues that are important to you as a professional.

At the end of this this session we will hopefully arrive at some consensus about the issues and methods A.R.T. as an organization should focus its attention, resources, efforts to best advance a tangible advocacy program.
